EGGLINGS

The precious, little Eggling looks and feels like an extra large egg, but crack its top and discover a garden ready for sowing! Extremely popular in Japan, where it originated, the Eggling is made of white porous ceramic (2.125" height x 1.875" diameter) and comes with a terra cotta tray and seed pack of herbs or cactus. Cultivation is easy - all the plants grow for up to five months in the Eggling's fortified peat mixture, after which the Eggling can be planted directly in soil. Packaged individually in a gift box.

 CRACK-A-HEAD

Ever dream about cracking someone's head?  Your boss, co-worker, friend, or even your spouse?  Now's your chance!  Just pretend that the little face is the one you want to crack!

Lovable knuckleheads that grow some wild herbs. Crack-a-heads are a lovable bunch. Bust their noggin (OK, tap it with the back of a spoon), water them, and these knuckleheads grow one of three wild herbs -- basil, mint, or lemon balm! Each egg-shaped Crack-a-head is handmade in Japan from white porous ceramic. Mutants of the Eggling family, Crack-a-heads work the same. Once the plant outgrows its head (about 3 to 5 months), you can crack it again and plant it directly in soil. This way, the plant can fully mature. Warning: you may grow too fond of your Crack-a-head to actually bury him in your garden!

 TATERPOTS

There’s a lot of personality in these little pots. “Taterpots” are cute potato shaped pots with friendly faces and funny little legs. Two styles are available – one tall (“Slim”), one stout (“Shorty”) – both grow one of three tasty herbs – oregano, basil or mint. Made in Japan, the Taterpot Slim stands 2 7/8” H and is 2 1/2” diameter. Shorty is 3” diameter and 2 1/4” H. Inside are seeds and a peat puck. Taterpots easily grow on any window sill and can be transplanted after 4 to 8 weeks, or snipped for garnishing and cooking. Afterwards the Taterpot can be used as an ornamental pot or replanted to grow again.
