I'm KAI P.(P for piranha!), and no, that's not a hook in my mouth!  What you are seeing is dental floss, as I am a dental floss dispenser.  My belly holds the floss, and my razor-sharp teeth bite off whatever amount you need.  I'm made out of a high quality acrylic.

(Floss is easily replaced, and Just for Fun! recommends using the shred resistant floss!)
